Birla Institute of Management Technology was established in 1988 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture. BIMTECH is mini India in its formation every year. It has students coming almost from all the states of India, and also from few foreign countries. Its mix of nationalities, cultural backgrounds, academic and professional experiences make BIMTECH one of the most exciting and enriching business schools in the country. Its long belief to prepare global managers who have cross cultural training has become a practice of the globe today.

The Challenge

Going with BIMTECH’s new logo, the BIMTECH website www.bimtech.ac.in needed to be revamped with a new look and feel using the logo colors. The emphasis was on easy access to information to all stake holders. The client wanted to automate several processes like Admissions, Placements and enrollments for Management Development Programs (MDP’s).

The Solution

Saviance Technologies contributed towards the online presence of this pioneer institute by developing and designing a feature rich website for them.Benefits include dynamic microsites for Placement and Corporate Relations, Student’s Corner, Admissions – online forms and payment, result viewing, Library, BIMTECH on YouTube andBlogs.

The site comprises of content pages and the micro-sites. Information on all the available courses, faculties and infrastructure is nicely presented.

The micro cater to the different sections like: Student Corner, Admissions, Placements, Libraryand Alumni, which is an instance of our Alumni product Viburnix. The Admin panel allows the web master to manage the dynamic sections on a regular basis. These sections are: Bimtech Highlights and Bimtech Events, Faculty Profiles etc.

Micro-sites have their own admin panels to manage library content, admission process, placement companies and student’s information.

Bimtech is an information rich site, and the presentation of this information makes it highly useful. Good user interface and well-planned traversal layout adds to the quality of this site.

The homepage is designed to provide the user with a common entry point to all other sections associated. The flash playing on the top of homepage showcasing the Bimtech premises and other related activities adds to the feel.

The new website has provision for updating coverage in print and electronic media.
